Young Adults

Young Adults Group
Composed of adults who are post high school to age 30.  Most members of our Young Adults Group are single and some are married without children.  We enjoy Fellowship, Food, Fun, and Service events.

Fellowship:  Fellowship is our group's key 'purpose' as we simply want to enjoy one another's company every time we get together!  This group is not limited to members of Third CRC and we strongly encourage bringing coworkers and friends to join in our fun!  Our events provide great opportunities to get to know others in our age-group.  Many of the 'young adults' also get together outside of the scheduled meetings.  We aim to provide a fun environment for fellowship with one another.
 

Food:  One Sunday each month we enjoy a "Lunch after Church."  We vary the Sundays month-to-month for those who work rotating weekend schedules.  Check the "Calendar" page on this website to find specific dates.
 
Fun:  We schedule "Game Nights" periodically where we might play a few hands of 'Dutch Blitz,' 'Rook,' 'Up & Down the River,' Rock Band or anything else someone may want to play.
 
Service:  Our Young Adults Group plans to participate in several service projects each year.  Our most recent project was done on Saturday, April 10 where we worked with Brothers Redevelopment to paint the home of a family in need.

Lunch After Church:
Join us for the 9:30 a.m. church service then Mike, Shari and others will prepare and serve up a fabulous meal (it's free - just come to the basement after the service to find out whether we're eating indoors or out).  Enjoy another of Pastor Sam's stimulating sermons followed by an opportunity to get to know other young adults a little better!

Kiersey Temperament Sorter II:  (Dates to be determined)
Deb Marshall from the Pastoral Counseling for Denver has graciously agreed to work with us to help us get to know ourselves and those we interact with a bit better!  The Keirsey Temperament Sorter is the most widely used personality instrument in the world.  We will each complete the survey, then Deb will help us understand the results of our personality test.  It's gonna be interesting!  Watch for more details to come!
 
Fun at the Van Stelle's: (Planning for a date in August)
We will gather at the Van Stelle's home for fun, games and plenty to eat.  Watch your e-mail for more details.
 
Potential Events (In the works, but not yet planned):
Attend a Rockies game; challenge each other to a game of baseball and/or volleyball.
